State Taxes

Government use states tax revenues to pay soldiers and police, to build bridges and roads, schools and hospitals, to provide food to the poor and medical care to the elderly and for hundreds of others purposes, that is why governments can not exist without taxes.
In case of the Unite States, property and sale taxes are main sources of funding state and local governments. Most US states also impose taxes on individuals and corporations. Each state has specific tax laws. Usually people who live in one state and work at another have to pay taxes in both states. In Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington and Wyoming people do no have to pay income taxes.
Sale taxes are one of the state taxes that people have to pay, which states governments use to pay services at the disposal of the citizens such as fire department, police, dams and roads.
